WEMBLEY SPORTS PARK

Public BBQ

his sports ground, featuring a large, well-kept AFL-sized oval and adjacent playground, is a popular and lively spot for various sporting events and family activities. The oval, praised for its flat, green surface and goal posts, is adjacent to excellent, brand-new clubrooms that are clean and equipped with good facilities. The location is particularly dog-friendly and ideal for watching local football and netball games. However, visitors should note that the car park can become extremely busy during events, so arriving early is recommended. The playground near the netball center is a highlight for families with children. While the center of the footy ground can be dry and dusty, the availability of shade for spectators makes it a favorite during the hot Perth summers.
